At Novogaia, we are accelerating the discovery of natural products from fungi using machine learning and metabolomics analysis. Our mission is find novel identify novel bioactive small molecules in the chemical space of fungi, for applications in pharmaceuticals and agriculture.

Role Description

We are looking for Founders' Associate, based in Amsterdam, to work closely with our founders in managing and prioritizing both strategic and operational initiatives. In this role, you will support key organizational processes, help drive internal and external communications, and ensure smooth operations as we continue to grow. This role offers hands-on exposure to various aspects of our business, and you will play a critical part in enabling the leadership team to operate efficiently and focus on strategic initiatives.

The role would best suit someone looking to work in a fast-paced, high-conviction environment with real-world impact.

The starting date of this role is as soon as possible, starting as an intern. This role can transition to a full-time role as a founding member of our team, including stock options (equity).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with our CEO, Tess Bevers, to set and implement the company’s strategic priorities.
• Assist in the development of key strategic documents and proposals that influence decision-making.
• Partner on internal projects, ensuring successful execution and follow-through.
• Take full ownership of unique initiatives, developing new projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee internal communication, making sure that the organization is aligned on objectives and targets.
• Serve as a central contact for investor relations, helping to prepare updates, reports, and presentations.
